At 08:00 in the morning we’ll pick you up from your hotel and drive to Edirne. We’ll reach to Edirne after a 3-hour journey and we’ll begin our tour by browsing through the glorious history of Edirne. Kahraman Sukru Pasha Memorial and Balkan Wars Museum will be our first stops. We’ll visit to the Selimiye Mosque, which was built by Mimar Sinan when he was at the age of 80 as his “masterpiece”. We’ll walk in to the Arasta Bazaar, built by the order of Sultan Murad III, and then we’ll go to the 657 years-old traditional Turkish wrestling area, Kırkpınar Square. After that, Complex of Sultan Bayezid II and Health Museum are the other points on our route; here we’ll talk and examine the old treatment methods used in Ottoman Era. After that we’ll have lunch, and in consequence we’ll pass to Karaağaç district, which is famous for its lovely houses. We’ll visit Trakya University museums with our guide and we’ll see the Treaty of Lausanne Monument and Museum and the only piece of land remaining on the other side of the Turkish Republic with Lausanne Treaty. We’ll talk about the borders, the Pazarkule Border Gate and return to Edirne. Before our way back to Istanbul, we’ll discover the other works of Mimar Sinan in the city center. In the evening, we’ll reach Istanbul, and drop you off to your hotel.
